We are all heartbroken as more details emerge about the tragedy in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, here at home, a few political things are happening:

• Special session hit the skids almost immediately – as predicted – it’s a giant waste of time and money.
• The Democrat primary to be the sacrificial lamb against Mike Coffman had another development yesterday – and no, it wasn’t Jason Crow shoring up support to be the nominee.
• Jared Polis tweeted a “juice is loose” joke about OJ Simpson, but then thought better of it. Unfortunately for him, the internet is forever.
