Democrats continue with their lawsuit against Colorado’s families
DENVER (March 7, 2013) —Today, the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled to allow state Sen. Andy Kerr D-Lakewood, to continue his lawsuit against the people of Colorado. Joining Andy Kerr are 33 other plaintiffs in the case challenging the Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR).
“Sen. Andy Kerr and the other plaintiffs in this case are continuing their relentless pursuit of suing the people of Colorado,” said Kelly Maher, executive director of Compass Colorado. “If the plaintiffs had their way, rather than allowing a vote on Amendment 66, Colorado’s families would have had the billion dollar tax hike foisted on us against our will.”
