Teachers union lawsuit compromises educational opportunity for our children
DENVER (January 29, 2013) –Today, the Colorado Education Association filed a lawsuit challenging parts of education tenure reforms put into place under Senate Bill 10-191.
Compass Colorado issued the following statement regarding the lawsuit:
“Our children are our greatest asset and they deserve the best education that Colorado can provide. Schools should be able to choose the best and most innovative teachers because our kids deserve it,” said Kelly Maher, executive director of Compass Colorado. “Rather than focusing on how we can satisfy the union, we should focus on how we can provide opportunity for our students.”
