Ken Salazar creates “green” PAC with Louis Bacon
DENVER (Dec. 12, 2013) — Today, former Colorado senator and Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar and east-coast hedge fund manager Louis Bacon announced they were teaming up to create a new political action committee focused on pro-conservation congressional candidates. Bacon has a long friendship with east-coast life-nanny, Michael Bloomberg.
“Whether it’s ‘Bloomberg’ or ‘Bacon’ the reality is we have an east-coast nanny who wants to control the lives of Coloradans,” said Kelly Maher, executive director of Compass Colorado. “If the loss of the recalls and spectacular failure of Amendment 66 didn’t strongly convey the distaste Coloradans have for out-of-state special interests telling us how to live, I don’t know what will.”
