Denver, CO- Compass Colorado is on calling Levi Tillemann-Dick, who has raised in excess of $11,239 from over 30 donors, to file paperwork for candidacy in CD 6 in accordance with the Federal Elections Commission.
Mr. Tillemann-Dick, who declared his exploratory committee on May 12th, 2017, has clearly passed the phase of testing the waters by accepting over $11,000 in contributions. His intentional refusal to file in a prompt manner is in direct violation of FEC laws governing candidacy in Congressional elections.
“Mr. Tillemann-Dick’s choice to violate FEC rules is an affront to citizens in the 6th Congressional District, and he needs to be held accountable”, said Kelly Maher, Executive Director of Compass Colorado. “Either he follows the law, or he should return the money gained by his Exploratory Committee to his supporters.”
Equally concerning is Mr. Tillemann-Dick’s failure to disclose a significant portion of his early donors. A May 16th post on Mr. Tillemann-Dick’s Facebook page lists 59 donors who have “contributed generously”, of whom only 33 are listed as donors on the committee’s CrowdPac site.
