DENVER — This evening, Democratic presidential candidates faced the public in their final debate before the New Hampshire caucuses. 

Kelly Maher, executive director of Compass Colorado, released the following statement regarding the debate: 

“The tone and tenor of tonight’s debate tells all of us that Hillary Clinton is scared and on the attack. She keeps trying to tell Democrat primary voters there isn’t much difference between her and Senator Bernie Sanders, a self-avowed Democratic-socialist, while trying to preserve a general election facade. It’s not working.”
