DENVER (November 18, 2015) –New polling from Quinnipiac University today shows the top four Republican candidates besting Hillary Clinton in a head-to-head in Colorado. One of the more interesting tidbits to emerge from those numbers, however, is how much Colorado women have a significant problem with Hillary Clinton.

According to Ashe Schow at the Washington Examiner:

“. . . the bad news for Clinton doesn’t end there. She is deeply unpopular with women in the Centennial State, with a favorability rating of just 38 percent among women and an unfavorable rating of 55 percent. Among white women, she has a 37 percent favorable rating and a 60 percent unfavorable rating.”

This news must concern the Clinton campaign considering Clinton is largely relying on her gender in an attempt to define her candidacy to appeal to women.

“Frankly, women in Colorado are tired of the shallow gender pandering by politicians like what we saw from Mark Udall last year,” said Kelly Maher, executive director of Compass Colorado. “Women in Colorado are energized by leaders who talk to us like the whole people we are. We are looking for substance, not merely a fellow woman who feels entitled to our support just because we happen to share a gender.”
