(GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO) – Compass Colorado today began launching a new round of billboards across Colorado highlighting three liberal politicians’ support for President Barack Obama’s national takeover of healthcare. The 28 billboards, which include U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter (D-Golden), state Rep. Sal Pace (D-Pueblo), and state Rep. Joe Miklosi (D-Denver/Aurora), will be up in Grand Junction and the Denver-metro area within the next week.
“Ed Perlmutter has consistently supported President Obama’s $1 trillion national takeover of healthcare despite clear evidence that it limits healthcare choices, increases costs, and cuts Medicare by $500 billion,” said Tyler Q. Houlton, president of Compass Colorado. “Ed has clearly spent too much time in Washington if he thinks Obamacare will do anything but hurt Colorado families and senior citizens.”
The slogan on Perlmutter’s billboard states, “Obamacare Tax. Who’s To Blame?” with a checked box next to President Obama and Rep. Perlmutter. The slogan on the other two billboards switches out “Who’s To Blame?” with “Who’s In Favor?” and includes similar checked boxes with Miklosi and Pace’s names.
“Sal Pace and Joe Miklosi have done everything in their power to support Obamacare at the state level,” Houlton said. “Neither Pace or Miklosi can be trusted to make the right healthcare decisions for Colorado.”
